A Suitcase. A Journey. A Decision.
There was a time I believed that not knowing your purpose meant you did not have one. I actually wrote those words down — 'No Purpose' — and carried them as though they were fact. There were things I could do, but nothing that felt like it would truly matter. Nothing that made me feel useful and happy.
Until the day I picked that paper up, read it one last time, and recognized it for what it really was — the biggest lie I had ever told myself.
This episode is about that moment. The decision to pack everything that is real and true about who I am, and leave everything else behind. The yellow suitcase represents my joy.
And I am finally learning that I am allowed to bring it with me
Not every step of the journey looks certain.
Some steps look like wandering. This episode is one of those. There is a difference, though, between being lost and being led. I am not lost. I am simply following a path I cannot see the end of yet — and learning to be okay with that. The church was not a coincidence.
Nothing on this journey has been. God has a plan. He has a path. And my only job right now is to trust it, follow it, and enjoy every single moment of the walk.

Even Here, There Is Joy
Not every moment of this journey feels electric. Some moments feel like a bus stop and tired feet and a memory you did not plan on revisiting today. I sat with that for a little while. The past. The fatigue. The quiet.
And then I got up. Because that is what joy does — it does not wait for the perfect moment. It rises anyway. What follows in this episode is the truest version of who I am. Laughing out loud. Believing in things I cannot prove yet. Swinging at an imaginary home run with everything I have. Skipping into the distance like the whole world is watching and I do not mind one bit.
This is not performance. This is just me — contagiously, unapologetically, impossibly optimistic. And I would not have it any other way.
A Picnic For One. For Now.
I set the table for a life I am still building. Strawberries. A book. Sunshine. And a quiet joy that feels almost too good to rush. This episode is me taking time for myself — fully, unapologetically — while I wait for the man who will add his own sparkle to what I am already building.
And then — just like that — the suitcase is gone. My yellow suitcase. The one that has carried my joy through every step of this journey. Taken. And everything is about to change. I do not know what comes next. But I have a feeling this is where the story really begins.
