38th Annual Vintage Car Club of Alexandria Car Show in Alexandria, MN

I had never been to the 38th annual Vintage Car Club of Alexandria Car Show before, and walking into the Alexandria Fairgrounds I was a little nervous. This was my first big show. But once I stepped foot in the show, it felt like home.

The kindest crowd

The crowd was the kindest I've come across so far. I spent the day chatting with car owners and asking about their cars.

Shoes, clothes, and everything in between

A woman stopped me to compliment my outfit, and we ended up chatting about shoes, clothes, and everything in between. You come for the cars, but you stay for the people.

Posing with the classics

A few people asked for a picture next to their car, and I happily posed. Being part of someone's favorite memory of their car is my favorite kind of Side Quest.

Thank you to the Vintage Car Club of Alexandria for welcoming me to my first big show.
